Personal and Family Background
Hassan, son of Safwan Al-Dalati, was born in the city of Homs, Syria, in 1972.
He began his education in the United Arab Emirates, where he was raised, and continued his studies between the UAE and his homeland, Syria.
He is married and has four daughters and one son: Rand, Judy, Liana, Selina, and Safwan.
Academic Qualifications
- Holds a degree in Computer Network Engineering from the United Arab Emirates.
- Holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Al-Bahth University (specialization in Industrial Control).
- Obtained a Diploma in Engineering with a specialization in Environmental Protection from Al-Bahth University in 1995.
- Studied a Diploma in Management and Statistics at the Faculty of Economics, University of Aleppo, in 1999.
- Holds several certificates in the field of programming techniques and web design.
- Awarded the Certificate of Excellence and Creativity from the Government of Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Received the Al-Basel Award for Excellence (First Graduate) in 1995.
- Received the Shield of Excellence from Samsung Korea (Malaysia branch) in 2000.
- Holds several patents and intellectual property rights in various fields.
Career
- Lecturer at Al-Bahth University (Department of Chemical Engineering) from 1995 to 1999, teaching courses in oil refining, industrial control, and petrochemical industries.
- Taught programming and computer design at private universities in Lebanon between 2002 and 2005.
- Currently manages and works at a computer training institute in Homs (Sumer Computer), a web design company (Syrian Hosting – Sirohost), as well as an industrial engineering consultancy firm.
- Member of the Syrian Engineers’ Syndicate.
- Member of the Syrian Teachers’ Syndicate.
- Member of the Historical Society of Homs.
- Member of the Syrian Chemical Society.
- Member of the Family House Committee in Homs and the Al-Dalati Family Solidarity Committee.
Projects and Aspirations
- His most important project is the development of solidarity work within the family and society, raising it to a level that ensures no person’s need is ever left unmet. The initial features of this effort have already begun to appear through the Family Solidarity Committee.
- Directs his efforts toward reviving the Al-Dalati Charitable Association, founded in 1954 but discontinued, believing that this can only be achieved through the collective effort of all family members wherever they may be.
- His great dream is to restore the glory and grandeur of this nation, the foundation of all world civilizations, by rebuilding the Syrian individual from within, and then extending outward to restore faith, principles, and science to their rightful place in society.
