If calamity surrounds you on all sides, say: “Allah is sufficient for me, and He is the best disposer of affairs.”
If enemies multiply and supporters are scarce, say: “Allah is sufficient for me, and He is the best disposer of affairs.”
If you are subjected to lies and slander, say: “Allah is sufficient for me, and He is the best disposer of affairs.”
If you follow the news these days, say: “Allah is sufficient for me, and He is the best disposer of affairs,” and remember the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) hadith:
“There will come upon the people years of deceit: the liar will be believed, the truthful will be disbelieved, the treacherous will be trusted, and the trustworthy will be betrayed. And the lowly one will speak in public affairs.”
It was asked, “Who is the lowly one?” He replied, “A worthless man who speaks about public matters.”
Yet I say: what you may dislike may actually be good for you. Indeed, Allah has wisdom in all matters. What Mahmoud Abbas, the current authority in Palestine, did by requesting the postponement of the vote on Judge Goldstone’s report regarding the Gaza massacres revealed his true face and that of his mercenary entourage—a dark, ugly face full of wrinkles of betrayal to the homeland and servitude to the enemy.
This moment is a real opportunity for all Palestinians who were deceived by Abbas and his so-called struggle for Palestine—a struggle I never believed in. Even if his claim were true, a woman with a pure past does not regain honor if she later turns to prostitution. This is a chance for the deceived to reassess and take a clear, courageous stance—not only against Abbas and his profiteering clique, of whom there are many (may God increase their number in the nation), but against the entire peace project. There can be no reconciliation between two fundamentally opposed civilizations: our Islamic, God-centered civilization based on justice, mercy, guidance, and light, versus the vile Zionist civilization of monkeys and pigs, founded on killing, terror, displacement, assassination, oppression, and occupation.
We can never coexist with them, never live alongside them, and never compromise our faith. They and Satan are but two names for the same evil. We will continue to resist them. Martyrdom operations will remain heroic and sacrificial; those who carry them out are among the greatest men of the nation. We will honor them, name our children after them, and draw closer to Allah in love for them—even in defiance of you, Abbas.
To America, which killed our people, looted our wealth, and trampled our Qur’an, we say: we will never forget our revenge nor what you have done to us. You who scrutinize “terrorist cells” in Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, and other lands you starved to death—terrorism is within you and your countries, and no one else. No Muslim on earth loves you, even if some donate their blood or condemn operations against you; they do so out of hypocrisy and fear.
Our cause is unprecedented in history and jurisprudence. Islamic law always seeks to avoid injustice to innocents, even if it allows a hundred wrongdoers to escape. Yet the entire world will never convince me of what Erekat said, defending his master’s betrayal with lies and falsehoods.
O our brothers in the West Bank and all of Palestine: it is time to rid your lives of this horrid nightmare. Unite as one to reclaim your cause from Abbas and his approach before reclaiming your homeland from the Israelis. The path is clear for those willing to follow:
“Enter through the gate; once you enter, you are victorious. And upon Allah put your trust, if you are believers.”
This is the clear, paved path; all else are whispers that please the coward and create excuses. Victory belongs to Islam and the empowerment of this religion.
Muslims must know that no matter how dire the state of the Ummah and how extended the schemes of enemies, the future belongs to Allah’s religion, and honor is for His supporters. The Qur’an and authentic Prophetic hadiths testify to this, inspiring hope and confidence in every Muslim, assuring them they are on the right path, regardless of circumstances:
“They wish to extinguish Allah’s light with their mouths, but Allah perfects His light, even if the disbelievers dislike it. It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth, to make it prevail over all other religions, even if the polytheists detest it.”
“Our word has preceded for Our servants, the messengers: indeed, they are the victorious ones, and Our soldiers are the prevailing.”
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“This matter will reach every inhabited place, and Allah will not leave any house without this religion entering it, either by the might of the mighty or the weakness of the lowly—honor by which Allah honors Islam and humiliation by which Allah humiliates disbelief.”
He also said:
“A group from my Ummah will always remain steadfast on the truth; those who abandon them cannot harm them until Allah’s command arrives, and they remain as such.” (Muslim)
Hearing this, any Muslim longs from the depths of his heart to be among this group, to play a role in supporting Allah’s religion and elevating His word. This aspiration becomes a fuel, igniting zeal and tireless effort to call others to the path of Allah with insight and wisdom.
The Prophet also said:
“Give glad tidings to this nation of light, victory, and empowerment.” (Ahmad, Ibn Hibban, Al-Hakim – authentic)
May Allah, the Almighty, protect us all.
